Scheduling
Managers build each week's schedule against how busy the store usually is at every hour, and see its labour cost as a share of the sales the week should bring. A shift is flagged when it clashes with someone's time off or availability, takes them past 40 hours, or puts a person on the floor who isn't cleared to handle product. Once it is published, staff see their shifts on their phone, give their availability, ask for time off and swap, drop or pick up shifts. They clock in and out on a shared tablet with a personal PIN, and their hours come back as timesheets with late, no-show and overtime flags, approved by a manager and exported for payroll together with the incentives they earned. Shift templates can be imported from When I Work.

Time clock
Staff clock in, take breaks and clock out on a shared tablet with their own PIN, and a photo is taken with each punch.
Timesheets
A manager checks hours worked against the schedule, fixes a missed clock-out, approves, and exports the pay period for payroll.
My schedule
A budtender sees their shifts, sets their availability, and asks for time off or a swap.
What it reads
People and positions from Team, eight weeks of orders from your POS for each hour's demand, your store hours, pay rates from each employee record, and the punches made on the tablet.
What runs by itself
Publishing emails each person whose shifts changed. Requests waiting for a decision are counted on the Schedule for whoever decides them. Nothing closes a missed clock-out for anyone.
What it writes back
Nothing to your POS or Metrc. Payroll gets the CSV a person exports.
