Inventory

Buyers and owners see which products earn their shelf space and which sit still, and work a daily queue of products about to run out, already out, or piling up. From that queue they pause replenishing a product or go straight to building its purchase order, and they phase out a brand or retire a vendor so the engine stops suggesting it. Before each restock run, Running low says what to carry out of the back room, and how many, so the sales floor lasts until the next run.

Products. An owner ranks every product by gross profit and days of supply to find top earners and stock that is not selling.

Running low

An inventory clerk carries out what the next restock run needs, soonest to run out first, and marks each product brought out.

Product images

A manager reviews pictures found for products your menu shows blank and publishes the ones that match.

Stock Levels settings

A manager sets lead time, reorder buffer and overstock thresholds, and picks which rooms count as sellable.

What it reads

Products, prices, costs, room quantities and sales from your POS, refreshed every hour, plus stock on its way from Metrc transfers and expiry dates and potency from Metrc lab results. Product pictures are looked for in brand image folders, public brand catalogues and competitor menus.

What runs by itself

The catalog sync every hour, the stock analysis every 30 minutes, a morning email of products to reorder now, another of inventory about to expire, and a nightly snapshot of what is on hand.

What it writes back

Only what a person publishes: an approved product picture goes to your POS menu, and a merged product name replaces the one in your POS. Paused products and which rooms count as sellable live only in BudLogix.

How it thinks

The same articles operators read inside BudLogix, published as they read them.
