Organization settings for compliance

Two settings on the organization settings page decide which regulation the whole Compliance module measures you against. Until both are set, coverage shows "We do not know which law applies to you yet" and incident classes fall back to the general list.

Where you set them

On the Licence card at the top of Organization profile, introduced as "The state you operate in, and the programme you are licensed under." It saves with Save Changes at the top of the page, and saving needs Manage Organization Settings. The rest of that page is described in its own article.

What each one decides

  • State - two-letter state code, for example MA. Only regulations on file for that state are used.
  • Licensed for - Adult-use, Medical or Adult-use and medical; it reads Not set until one is chosen. In Massachusetts adult-use maps to 935 CMR 500 and medical to 935 CMR 501. Choosing both merges duties the two rulebooks share into one row.

Changing the programme changes which checklist coverage shows; existing answers keyed to citations that stay on the list are kept. An operator who has recorded no programme is shown the occasions that bind every establishment, rather than a merged list of both corpora.
