Where deliveries come from
A delivery in BudLogix is one manifest: the paperwork for one transfer from a supplier to your store. There are two ways one gets onto the Receiving list.
From Metrc, automatically
Once the METRC User Key and METRC License Number are saved in Delivery manifest settings, BudLogix pulls your incoming transfers from Metrc every hour. Each transfer becomes a delivery, and each package on it becomes a line with the package tag, the item name, Metrc's category and item id, the shipped quantity and its unit, the wholesale price and the expiration date.
The refresh button on the Receiving screen (Sync from METRC) pulls right now instead of waiting for the hour.
Dates on the row are Metrc's. Expected is Metrc's arrival estimate, Arrived is Metrc's actual receipt time, and Not delivered - due means the estimate has passed with no receipt. Manifested ... ago means Metrc gave no estimate.
Metrc names the shipping facility. BudLogix links it to a vendor by license or exact name; when it cannot, the row reads No supplier and a person picks one. That choice is remembered for the license.
From an Excel file, by hand
Upload Excel manifest on the Receiving screen creates a delivery from a spreadsheet. It is the fallback for a delivery Metrc does not have. An uploaded delivery has no Metrc transfer, so it never matches by Metrc item id and always shows Not received in Metrc once finished. See Upload a manifest by hand.
What the sync does not do
Receiving in Metrc is done in Metrc. BudLogix reads the receipt back (Received in Metrc on the cockpit, the Not received in Metrc badge on the list) but never accepts a transfer for you. Scanning a package in BudLogix marks it present here only.
The shipped quantity on a line is what the manifest declares. BudLogix copies it as the received figure when a package is scanned, so that figure is not evidence that anything was received or counted. The count typed on the Counting screen is the only number that came from a person.
Two more daily passes
- At 06:15 Eastern, lines with no product yet are linked using Dutchie's record of what was received under each package tag, for deliveries Metrc has a receipt for.
- At 06:45 Eastern, the supplier, license and Metrc item ids on deliveries are filled in from Metrc's package records where they are still blank.
Where you see this
- Receiving - the list, the sync button and the settings warning.
- Delivery manifest settings - the credentials.
- Reconciliation cockpit - Received in Metrc and the transfer warning.
