Compliance flags
A compliance flag marks a phrase in a customer's comment that would be a problem if it were repeated in a public review: a medical claim, explicit consumption language, a mention of minors, or a price claim. Flags are raised the moment the private form is sent and shown with the comment in its thread on Reviews.
What is scanned
The scan looks for fixed words and phrases in the comment on the private form (feedback from before late September 2026: the Additional Comments text). It is a word match, not a judgement of meaning.
- Medical claims - words such as "treats", "cures", "anxiety", "pain", "insomnia", "therapeutic". Severity HIGH. Controlled by Flag medical claims.
- Age-related language - "underage", "minor", "kid", "child", "teenager". Severity HIGH. Always on.
- Prohibited terms - consumption language such as "get high", "stoned", "smoking", "dabs". Severity MEDIUM. Controlled by Flag prohibited terms.
- Pricing claims - "cheapest", "best price", "lowest price", "price match". Severity LOW. Controlled by Flag pricing claims, off by default.
What a flag changes
Nothing the customer sees. Where they go is decided by the rating alone, with one tap, before they write anything (see Where a customer goes after rating), so a flag of any severity is recorded for you to see and nothing more.
Flags never edit the customer's words and are never sent anywhere. They are a signal to a manager reading the feedback and, later, to whoever replies to a public review that was matched to it.
Where you see this
- The review panel - under the private comment in the thread, as "flagged:" and each flag with its severity, for example "a medical claim (high)".
- Review Management Settings - the Compliance Settings card.
